A Little Bit About
SandDreaming®...
Your Dreaming in the Sand
First Core Principle
Giving form to inner life is itself a healing act
In SandDreaming™, the very act of giving form to inner life, through sand, symbol, gesture, and placement, already initiates change.
Psychological content does not need to be analysed or explained in order to transform.
When something that has lived inwardly finds outer expression, it enters relationship, movement and time. The psyche reorganises itself through this act of making visible.
To express is already to change.
Second Core Principle
The Psyche needs Freedom within Protection
SandDreaming™ unfolds within a space that is deliberately set apart—free from judgement, intrusion, interpretation or demand.
This protected field allows the unconscious to emerge in its own rhythm, without pressure to perform, resolve or make sense. Safety is not created through control, but through consistency, boundaries and reverence for the process.
Only in such a space can symbols take risks, regress, conflict or transform.
What is protected is able to move.
Third Core Principle
Transformation Unfolds in the Presence of an Attuned, Non-verbal Witness
Central to SandDreaming™ is the presence of a non-verbal witness, someone who offers undivided attention, emotional participation and a sincere attempt to understand without intervening.
The witness does not explain or direct.
They attune, feel and stay.
This quality of presence allows the psyche to be met without being managed and for meaning to arise organically through shared human resonance rather than interpretation.
What is deeply seen—without words—can finally unfold.

Book NowA Communal Approach to Healing.
SandDreaming™ is a depth-based, non-verbal therapeutic process that uses sand, symbol and embodied presence to support psychological healing and integration.
Rooted in Jungian psychology, somatic awareness and earth-based ways of knowing, SandDreaming™ offers a free and protected space where inner life can be expressed without explanation or analysis. The simple act of giving form to what lives within — through the hands and the sand — begins a natural process of transformation.
Held in the presence of an attuned, non-verbal witness, SandDreaming™ allows meaning to emerge organically, supporting nervous system regulation, symbolic integration and a renewed sense of inner coherence and belonging.
How SandDreaming® Works.
SandDreaming™ is an individual inner practice held within a group setting. Each person works in their own sand tray, guided inward rather than toward interaction or discussion.
The group creates a shared field of presence — alone, together.
There are no social roles to perform, no expectations to speak, share or respond to others. Attention is turned toward the hands, the sand, the body and what wants to emerge.
Participants are invited to work quietly and at their own pace, allowing images, sensations and symbols to arise without needing to explain or make sense of them. The space is deliberately free of judgement, comparison or interpretation.
What holds the group is empathic presence rather than interaction. Each person is accompanied, not watched. You may receive without giving, take without needing to reciprocate and remain inwardly focused while being gently held within the collective field.
SandDreaming™ offers the rare experience of being deeply alone in your inner world — while not being alone.
